From September 29 to October 1, VidSummit 2026 brought the global video creator community together in the Dallas area of Texas.
Now in its 13th year, the annual conference welcomed approximately 3,000–4,000 creators and industry professionals for more than 100 keynotes, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops. In-person tickets were priced at $995.

VidSummit focuses on the business of content creation, bringing professional creators, content companies, and platforms together to share strategies, sharpen their craft, and explore emerging technologies.
Clipto was invited to participate alongside Adobe Labs, Manus, and others. Through an official workshop, product demos, and the launch of a new creator program, the team explored how AI can change the way creators organize, understand, and work with their digital content.

Part 1. Helping AI Understand Your Footage
One of the key themes at this year’s VidSummit was AI’s expanding role across the entire creator workflow.
In an official workshop, Clipto founder Henry Kang and Creator in Residence Jared Isham demonstrated how Clipto helps professional creators manage large libraries of locally stored video footage. With AI, creators can quickly find specific moments, understand what’s in their archives, and put existing content to work in new ways.
The session, “AI That Manages Your Footage Instead of Generating More,” was also featured in creator services platform AIR Media-Tech’s recap of VidSummit 2026.
As AI makes content generation easier, creators face another increasingly important question: How can the content they already have keep delivering value?

Part 2. Connecting with Leading Voices in the Creator Economy
VidSummit also gave the Clipto team an opportunity to connect with some of the most influential people in the creators’ economy.
The team met with Derral Eves, VidSummit’s founder and a key collaborator of MrBeast. Derral even signed a piece of “Clipto Money,” giving the team a memorable keepsake from the event.
Clipto also connected with Jon Youshaei, Chris Do, and other prominent creators and industry professionals to discuss AI tools, content asset management, and where the creator economy is headed.

Part 3. Launching a $100,000 Creator Program
At the conference, Clipto officially launched the Clipto Creator Program, offering creators around the world early access to products, direct conversations with the core team, and opportunities for ongoing collaboration.
The program launched with an initial $100,000 creator fund and its first Elon Musk Creator Challenge, featuring a $10,000 prize pool. The challenge encourages creators to experiment with new ways of creating content with AI.
The program opened at the event, drawing interest and participation from creators across the community.

VidSummit 2026 highlighted a growing shift in how creators think about AI: its value increasingly lies in helping people understand, manage, and unlock the potential of the content they already own.
Powered by on-device multimodal AI and long-term memory technology, Clipto is building a personal AI Memory Layer. The goal is to turn vast collections of video, audio, and digital information into personal digital assets that people can understand, search, and use over time.
As Clipto grows from a suite of creator tools into a personal memory platform, we’ll continue exploring how AI can help people find, connect, and make more of their digital memories.
